Operation Catsuit (2012-present) is a relational performance piece wherein Evans dons a neon green, zebra print catsuit by Butch Diva and attends various spaces while reactions from passerby are discreetly recorded.

With a wide range of reactions from dirty looks and slyly-taken photos to cat-calls and aggressive come-ons, Operation Catsuit sheds light on the ways in which the Black women continually experience dispossession from their own bodies—challenging the notion that they exist and are available for consumption.
